We value parents as stakeholders of our public schools and want to be sure that our children not only have a right to a quality education, but that they receive one as well. Parents and families are an important component of academic success. To this end Parents for Public Schools of Greater Cincinnati has partnered with the Ohio Department of Education to help parents better understand the Ohio School System by developing a 4-module program: Pathways to Parent Leadership.
This program has been designed by and for parents to help you become more familiar with Ohio’s education system and understand your important leadership role as family member of a student. We know from questions asked of us that parents are eager to understand how to work with teachers and schools; however, they need information. Each module takes you to a different aspect of student achievement and parental involvement.
